Missing IE Options in Control Panel Problem










Common IE Issues Here is some solution and how to fix it:

Missing IE options in control panel

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\
add a new Key called Internet Explorer. Then a new key to the Internet Explorer called Control Panel. create a new DWORD called GeneralTab and make the value 0. restart and let me know if it works!
If it didn’t work..
go to HKEY_USER go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and do the same changes i stated above.


Open "regedit.exe" from the "Start" button (Windows XP users should choose choose "Start" - "Run", then run the registry editor).
2. Navigate to the following key: My Computer / HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Policies / Microsoft / Internet Explorer
3. Navigate to the Restrictions key, or create a key Restrictions.
4. To enable the "Internet Options" menu:
You should see a key "NoBrowserOptions" with a value of 1. Either delete the key or change its value to 0.
XP PRO
Instructions
Step 1
Open the Windows XP Group Policy Editor. Go to Start, click on "Run," then type "gpedit.msc" into the search field and click "OK."
 
Step 2
Remove Internet Options from the Control Panel. Under "Local Computer Policy," go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Control Panel, then click "Hide specified control panel applets" in the right pane. Click "ENABLED," then select "Show" and click on "Add." Type "Internet Options," then click "OK."

Step 3
Remove Internet Options from Internet Explorer. Under "Local Computer Policy," go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Internet Explorer > Browser Menus, then double-click "Tools menu: Disable Internet Options menu option" in the right pane. Select "ENABLED," then click "OK."

XP HOME

1. If Folder Options is disabled but Registry Editor is still working in your system, then you can enable Folder Options by editing Windows Registry
Type regedit in RUN dialog box and press Enter. it'll open Registry Editor, now go to following keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\Explorer
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\Explorer
In right-side pane, check whether a DWORD value named NoFolderOptions exists or not? If it exists, delete it.
2. If you are not familiar with editing the registry, then you can simply download following file, extract it and then run the .REG file:
